I had an epiphany when I was almost 40 years old that I wanted to pursue music. I had been too scared to do so for….FOREVER! I came to a place in my life where I simply wasn’t able to ignore the calling….I felt like I was late to the game, but that is the awesome thing about dreams….they are not necessarily confined to the reality of the current situation or our past-there are no confines…life is a continuous journey that changes and grows! It will never be perfect and it’s never too late for even a taste of the feeling of freedom that pursuing our passions can reveal.

I moved to Los Angeles from the woods of Northern California in late 2013. I had never been to L.A. before and I only knew a few people. I had no music contacts or prospects. I dove in and set goals and faced my fears. I started navigating the music scene and inserting myself into it as best as I could. I started a concert series, had a music magazine, learned about songwriting and a bunch of other things that I knew nothing about. In 2018, I put out my first album and went on tour-a tour that I successfully booked on my own. I was 41 years old. I taught myself to be an independent, “indie” musician. I learned-I grew-I am still growing…..and learning….
